What comes in the Starter Kit?
One NIIMBOT B21S Pro in the color shown on this page and one factory pre-installed 50×30 mm White direct thermal label roll. No extra rolls are included.
How are Essential and Plus different?
Essential has four total rolls: one pre-installed 50×30 mm White, two 50×30 mm Red & Black, and one 54×80 mm White. Plus has seven total rolls: one pre-installed 50×30 mm White, four 50×30 mm Red & Black, and two 54×80 mm White.
Do the totals include the pre-installed roll?
Yes. Starter, Essential, and Plus contain one, four, and seven total rolls respectively. Each total includes the pre-installed 50×30 mm White roll.
Does printing require ink or ribbon?
No. B21S Pro uses direct thermal printing. Use confirmed compatible label rolls; M2/M2-H thermal-transfer labels and ribbons are not compatible.
Can I print barcodes and QR codes?
You can design supported barcodes and QR codes in the NIIMBOT app. Choose a label with enough space and test the printed code with your intended scanner before using it in your workflow.
Can the Starter Kit print red and black?
The printer supports compatible dual-color media, but Starter includes only a White roll for black printing. Essential and Plus include Red & Black rolls. Ordinary White labels do not print red.
Is this a full-color or shipping-label printer?
It is a direct thermal labeling system. Dual-color printing requires the specified compatible media; it is not full-color printing. The supplied labels are for product and packaging details, not standard 4×6-inch carrier labels.
